Buying KLM Air Miles with Friends for a Great Trip

Friends for a Great Trip
Hey friends! I’m going to talk to you about KLM air Miles and how you can use them to plan the ultimate summer, the way I did with some girlfriend’s senior year.

It was the last year before graduation so none of us were interested in going home during semester break so we decided to plan for a trip abroad. Since we were all students we needed to plan this excursion on a budget so we started thinking of ways to reduce the cost of travel. There were a couple of places that we wanted to go to, most of them were places that had a reputation for scenic beauty and delicious cuisine. We weren’t the adventurous tourist more of the laid back strolling in the city kind of tourists. After considering a couple of options we locked in Amsterdam because it seemed to fulfill or our expectations of a relaxing semester break. It was after all a culturally rich city home to the house of Anne Frank and the Van Gough Museum.

KLM Air Miles
We were fortunate that all of us regularly travelled by KLM and had signed up to their frequent flyer program called ‘Flying Blue’. What was great about that was that we had earned quite a few miles both on our flights and while we had shopped at KLM’s partner outlets, which would definitely help us get our ticket at a cheaper price. We also found a pretty good deal at a hotel in Amsterdam that was also KLM’s brand partner helping us earn even more miles once we’d booked our rooms there. Some of us also bought KLM air miles through the website itself. All these miles combined cut our tickets cost to around half of its original price because of which we were able to utilize most of our budget for our expenses in Amsterdam.

KLM staff
Flying with KLM was a pleasant experience, the airplane staff was highly efficient and courteous making for a very smooth flight to Amsterdam. Once we’d cleared all the formalities at the airport we headed straight to the hotel. Since the hotel was a brand partner to KLM we were treated almost like VIPs. After we’d rested a while we hit the streets, and we were ecstatic, finally on a break together roaming this great city where interestingly we’d find an exquisite coffee shop at almost every corner.

Amsterdam
Amsterdam was just like we’d imagined with its gorgeous architecture, canals, quaint houses, and splendid museums. We took boat rides down historical waters and walked down the elm-lined streets beside them gaping at the seventeenth century architectureThe genuine character of Amsterdam woke up with their interim stalls, clamoring swarms and the energizing sights and emanations of new create and obsolescent products, bright blossoms and yellowing books. Amsterdamabounds in of all shapes and sizes advertises that are worth a visit for some extraordinary deals, free examples of cheddar and prepared products, and maybe for discovering an uncommon ancient rarity from many years back.
We came back with more memories than all our time at university combined and because of the money we saved on the tickets we were fairly at ease when it came to our finances. That is why we’ve continued to use our ‘Flying Blue’ accounts and also occasionally buy KLM miles so that we can embark on more adventures in the future.
